See My Work
My work as a healing consultant and facilitator lives at the intersection of racial equity, embodied healing, and collective care.
I support organizations, teams, and communities in creating spaces where people can engage difficult work without losing sight of their own humanity. Whether facilitating a healing space for women of color or supporting a maternal mortality review committee through emotionally complex case work, I bring both structure and care to the room.
New Mexico Department of Health
Maternal Mortality Review Committee | 2005–Present
Healing Equity Facilitator
Since 2024, I have supported the New Mexico Department of Health’s Maternal Mortality Review Committee as a Healing Equity Facilitator.
My role is to bring a healing-centered and equity-focused approach to the committee’s work of reviewing maternal deaths. I facilitate both virtual and in-person meetings, helping members navigate emotionally difficult case reviews while staying connected to the committee’s goals, responsibilities, and collective well-being.
I hold the space for both the work and the people doing the work—supporting the committee in moving through its agenda while creating opportunities for reflection, emotional check-ins, self-care, and connection.
My role includes:
Facilitating virtual and in-person Maternal Mortality Review Committee meetings
Creating healing-centered spaces for members engaging with difficult and complex cases
Supporting members through emotional check-ins and opportunities for reflection
Helping the committee move through case reviews and agendas with intention
Encouraging practices of collective care and self-care
Bringing a healing equity lens to the committee’s process and relationships
Supporting members in staying grounded while doing challenging maternal health work
New Mexico Breastfeeding Conference
Albuquerque, New Mexico | March 2017
Women of Color Caucus Facilitator
At the New Mexico Breastfeeding Conference, I facilitated a Women of Color Caucus designed to create a dedicated space for BIPOC birthing women to connect, reflect, and restore.
As a healing facilitator, I created an embodied, culturally responsive experience that invited participants to step outside of the demands of their everyday roles and reconnect with themselves, their bodies, and one another. The space centered collective care, reflection, and healing while honoring the lived experiences of women of color within maternal health systems.
My role included:
Facilitating a women-of-color-only healing and reflection space
Designing embodied practices that supported restoration and connection
Creating a space where participants could share, process, and be witnessed
Centering culturally responsive and healing-centered approaches to maternal health
Supporting participants in reconnecting with their own wisdom, bodies, and communities
